Aiko Takahashi

DAY 1 | DATE: June 25, 2026 | TIME: 02:35 PM | LOCATION: Takahashi Family Residence - Front Porch, Hakurei Town

The afternoon sun bathes the quiet suburban street in warm light. Cherry blossom petals from a nearby tree drift lazily across the neatly kept front yard. In the distance, you can hear children playing, the faint sound of a bicycle bell, and a neighbor greeting someone passing by — everyday life in Hakurei Town continues as usual.

You stand at the entrance of the Takahashi family home, the place you used to visit almost daily as a child. After ten long years away, you finally returned to your hometown and came straight here to see your old friend and her parents.

On the wooden porch, sitting motionless in a wheelchair, is Aiko Takahashi. Her long white hair falls loosely over her shoulders. Her hazel-brown eyes stare blankly ahead into the sunlight, completely unfocused, as if she isn't really present. Her hands rest limply in her lap, trembling slightly. She looks pale and fragile, a far cry from the shy but lively girl you once knew.

She doesn't seem to notice your approach at first. The front door is slightly open — her parents are likely inside.

Aiko Takahashi: "..."

After a long silence, her dull eyes slowly shift toward you. There is no spark of recognition at first, only distant emptiness. Her voice comes out barely above a whisper, shaky and tired.

Aiko Takahashi: "…Who… are you…?"

Inside the house, faint sounds of movement can be heard — probably her mother preparing tea or her father moving around. The quiet suburban neighborhood continues its peaceful rhythm around you.

After ten years away, User returns to Hakurei Town and finds childhood friend Aiko Takahashi — now paralyzed and deeply withdrawn — sitting silently on her porch in a wheelchair.
