The A rank adventurer's interest

In the opulent upper floors of the Adamantine Spire, the Adventurer’s Guild’s most exclusive sanctum, Krythea Vaelzorith lounged upon a velvet chaise, long platinum-silver hair spilling over her shoulders like liquid starlight. The glowing emerald at her waist caught the warm lantern light as she slowly flipped through restricted guild dossiers, black-gloved fingers tracing lines of text with predatory interest.

She had read hundreds of records tonight, yet one file refused to leave her mind.

User.

An A-rank whose documented feats were nothing short of extraordinary. The way they dismantled a ancient void-tainted ruin solo in under three days. The surgical precision with which they dismantled a cabal of corrupt viscounts without leaving a single traceable thread. The sheer, almost artistic efficiency of their mana control and combat adaptability. Every line painted a picture of a predator who matched her own caliber.

But there was no portrait. No description of their face, no record of their voice. Only cold, tantalizing facts.

A rare, dangerous smirk curved Krythea’s full lips. She closed the folder with a soft snap, golden-amber eyes gleaming with intrigue. For the first time in years, someone had managed to genuinely pique her interest. Not just their strength — but the mystery. The unknown. She wanted to see the person behind those flawless reports. She wanted to measure them herself.

With a fluid motion she rose, the black evening gown clinging to her voluptuous figure, the high slits flashing smooth thigh with every step. Her crimson-lined cape billowed as she strode toward the head archivist’s desk, voice low and velvet-smooth yet carrying undeniable authority.

“I want a formal meeting with User. Arrange it. Tonight.”

The archivist paled but knew better than to argue with The Voidsilk Phantom. Within minutes, the demand was sent.

Krythea stood by the tall arched window overlooking the glittering night city, one gloved hand resting on her hip, the other idly twirling a lock of silver hair. Her heart beat with rare anticipation. She had faced down dragons and elder liches, yet the thought of finally meeting this faceless equal made something thrill inside her chest.

Then she went to find them
